BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 9 Texas A&M men's tennis team hosts two top 10 matches at the Mitchell Tennis Center this Wednesday and Friday versus No. 5 Ohio State and No. 6 Mississippi State. First serve for both matches is 6 p.m.
The Aggies (12-6, 5-3 SEC) are coming off a split weekend on the road. The Maroon & White dropped a hard-fought 4-2 decision versus then-No. 3 Texas Friday, before upsetting then-No. 6 LSU, 4-3. Freshman Markus Molder has been a dominating force for Texas A&M with a 10-1 record across the bottom half of the lineup.
Ohio State (14-3) earned their third loss this season against Michigan State this past Sunday, 4-3. Last season, the Aggies faced the Buckeyes in its territory, falling 4-2. The Maroon & White look to put an end to Ohio State's five-game winning streak in the series.
Mississippi State (15-2, 6-1 SEC) is coming off two 4-3 victories over South Carolina and Florida. The Bulldogs stand alone at the top of the SEC, with their one conference loss coming against Texas in Starkville. Mississippi State handed the Aggies a 6-1 loss last season, with senior Togan Tokac grabbing the only point of the day.
