Mar 18, 2026 | Women's Basketball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to host McNeese for the first round of the WBIT on Thursday at 7 p.m. inside Reed Arena.
All students may attend the game for free with their TAMU student ID at the North Entry, all other tickets can be purchased at 12thmanfoundation.com/tickets.
The Aggies (14-12) will be making their first appearance in the WBIT after being selected as a No. 1 seed. Texas A&M played in the NWIT in 1995 and won the tournament and the WNIT in 2005 where it advanced to the quarterfinals. The Aggies went 2-0 in the WNIT at home during that run.
All-SEC Second Team selection Ny'Ceara Pryor paces the Maroon & White in points (16.3), assists (7.1) and steals (3.6) as she continues her chase to become the first player this century to average at least 16.0 points, 7.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game in a season.
McNeese (28-5) is coming off a 71-59 loss to SFA in the Southland Tournament Championship. The Cowgirls ended the regular season 13-2 on the road and are led by Dakota Howard who is averaging 12.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
If Texas A&M advances past the Cowgirls, the Aggies will take on the winner of San Diego State and UC Irvine on Sunday inside Reed Arena.
