Late Rally Completes Sweep of Kentucky, 9-6

Trailing by two in the sixth, Maudi Sauni delivered a two-RBI double to tie the game at four. Frankie Vrazel followed with a triple down the right-field line to give the Aggies their first lead. Micaela Wark then extended the advantage with a three-run home run, pushing the lead to 9-4.
Texas A&M (22-9, 5-1 SEC) held off a late Kentucky rally after a double and two-run home run cut the deficit to three. Sydney Lessentine closed the door with a groundout and lineout to secure the 9-6 win.
Wark led the Aggies, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, while Sauni and Kennedy Powell each drove in two runs. Nine Aggies recorded a hit as Texas A&M posted double-digit hits for the second time in the series.
Sidne Peters (9-3) earned her second win of the weekend, striking out four over 5.0 innings of relief while allowing one earned run on two hits and one walk.
Kentucky (20-12, 1-8 SEC) struck first in the opening frame with a two-out RBI double. Texas A&M answered in the second when Kennedy Powell grounded out with the bases loaded to score KK Dement.
After an Aggie fielding error and a fielder's choice, Texas A&M trailed 2-1 through four innings. The Maroon & White tied the game, 2-2, in the fifth when Mya Perez singled up the middle to score pinch runner Hailey Golden.
Kentucky regained the lead in the sixth with a two-run home run, taking a 4-2 advantage before the Aggies' decisive rally.

- Mya Perez and Kennedy Powell each extended their nation leading on-base streaks to 34 games.
- Powell tailed her 200th career hit with a single to second base in the sixth inning. She also swiped a pair of bases, extending her streak to 41 consecutive stolen bases dating back to 2024.
- Micaela Wark hit her 12th home run of the season, matching Mya Perez for the team lead. She has two home runs in the last three games and finished the weekend 4-for-10 with two home runs, seven RBI and three runs.
- Frankie Vrazel recorded her first career triple and was one of three Aggies with five hits in the series, finishing with a .556 average, two runs, two RBI and one stolen base.
- Ariel Kowalewski went 2-for-4 including her team-leading 12th double. She posted multiple hits in consecutive games and finished the series 5-for-10 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs.
- Kelsey Mathis joined Powell and Vrazel as the only Aggies with a hit in all three games. She led the team with a .625 batting average, going 5-for-8 with three runs and one walk.
- Sidne Peters earned two wins in the series, totaling 10.0 innings with 12 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .139 average. She did not issue multiple walks in any appearance.
- The Aggies' seven-run sixth inning matched a season high.
- Texas A&M pitching has allowed one or fewer walks in 11 games this season.
- Texas A&M recorded double-digit hits for the 13th time this season.
- The sweep marks the eighth in SEC play under head coach Trisha Ford.
