2011-12 (SOPHOMORE)
Competed once on the year, in horsemanship … dropped a narrow 71-68 decision to Fresno State (9/24) ... named a Texas A&M Athletics Scholar Award winner.
2010-11 (FRESHMAN)
Recorded one exhibition ride on the year in horsemanship, posting a 69-67.5 win over Kansas State’s Tiana Shelton (11/20).

Caroline Clair Ammons is the daughter of Mark and Lee Anne Ammons of Englewood, Colorado ... born September 23, 1991 in Denver ... has an older sister, Sarah, and two younger brothers, Will and Jack ... majoring in general studies ... a 2010 graduate of Kent Denver School in Englewood ... chose Texas A&M for the academic prestige and the school traditions ... has been riding for 12 years, primarily quarter horse and all-around ... trainers are Chad and Barbie Evans ... has won multiple circuit awards and all-arounds through her riding career ... placed seventh in performance geldings at the 2007 AQHYA World Show in Fort Worth ... finished third in trail and ninth in showmanship at the 2009 Congress show in Ohio ... also played three years of lacrosse in high school ... was the captain of her team as a sophomore (2008) and junior (2009) ... earned the team’s Thayer Coaches’ Award as a senior ... enjoys lacrosse and skiing in her spare time.
