Competed 11 times during the season, including the SEC tournament and NCEAs, with an overall win percentage of .636 and an average score of 70.27…Named Most Outstanding Player against No. 5 South Carolina with a score of 68…Score of 74.5 in a narrow loss to No. 2 Auburn was the third highest score of the season…Won both rides at the NCEA Championships and logged one win at the SEC tournament…Selected to the NCEA Academic Second Team and the NCEA Academic Honor Roll.
2011-12 (SOPHOMORE)
Named the team’s MVP in reining in her first full season of collegiate competition … led the discipline in victories, MVPs and winning percentage … went 11-4-1 on the year, earning three MVP awards … a two-time Big 12 Rider of the Month award winner … picked up back-to-back MVPs in victories over Georgia (10/8) and New Mexico State (10/15) … scored a season-high 74 in win at NMSU … became inaugural Big 12 Rider of the Month winner in reining for her performance in November … unbeaten in five postseason rides, sweeping a pair of rides at the Big 12 Championship before going 2-0-1 in her first career NCEA appearance … topped OSU first-team All-American Caroline Daniels (4/14) in the finals 137.5-134 to help lift the Aggies to the western national championship … earned Big 12 Rider of the Month honors for her performance … earned high marks in the classroom as well … was an NCEA second-team Academic All-American and a first-team Academic All-Big 12 pick ... named a Texas A&M Athletics Scholar Award winner.

Three rides in reining, all exhibition ... posted a 2-1 record and a 70.5 scoring average ... split a pair of rides against teammate Cheyenne Cracraft and defeated Baylor’s Alexis Gray.

Lindsey Maegen Bernbaum is the daughter of Rick and Roxie Bernbaum of Dufur, Oregon ... born May 21, 1992 in Soldotna, Alaska ... has an older sister, Brittany ... majoring in animal science with a minor in business ... plans on working with equine nutrition after graduation ... chose Texas A&M for the equestrian program ... has been riding for 15 years, primarily reining ... trainer is her mother, Roxie ... a 2010 graduate of Dufur High School ... lettered four years in equestrian and three years in volleyball ... posted numerous top-five finishes at the Adequan North American Affiliate Championships in Oklahoma City ... enjoys swimming, rafting, dancing, and playing volleyball in her spare time.
