JUNIOR (2013-14): Competed 6 times in fences and 13 times in flat throughout the season, landing with 72.50 and 74.06 averages, respectively… Received Most Outstanding Player honors in the flat against, one against SMU and two against Auburn…Leads the team in MOP honors for equitation on the flat as she has now garnered a total of 5 MOP awards in her three-year career…Win against No.3 Auburn in equitation on the flat with personal season high score of 92 also ranked highest score of the season for the team…Also dubbed 3rd place rankings against South Carolina with a score of 90 and dual 4th place seats against SMU and Georgia with scores of 86…Only win over fences came during the season-opener against Kansas State…Saw action in both the SEC Tournament and the NCEA Championships…named a Texas A&M Athletic Scholar for the second time in her career.
SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Competed in equitation over fences six times and equitation on the flat 13 times throughout the season…Finished the season with a .536 win percentage in equitation on the flat… Named Most Outstanding Player twice in equitation on the flat against SMU and No. 1 Georgia, the second of which came during the SEC tournament…Her two MOP awards for the season tied for fourth most in Aggie equestrian history and her three MOP awards for her two-year career are the 5th most for an Aggie flat rider…Career winning percentage of .660 (16-8-1) is first in the school record… Competed in both the SEC tournament as well as the NCEA Championships…High score of 85 against No. 1 Georgia in equitation on the flat tied for third highest score of the season for the Aggies…Ride against South Carolina in the NCEA Championships was the third highest NCEA score in Aggie equestrian history…Won two of her three rides at the SEC Tournament and recorded one winning ride in the NCEA Championships…Win against Oklahoma State over fences during the NCEA Championships came by a difference of 23 points…Triumph over Fresno State came with a buffer of 10 points while success against No. 1 Georgia in the SEC Tournament had a margin of 14 points…Voted the team’s Most Valuable Rider in equitation on the flat…During the summer earned her 20th United States Equestrian Team Foundation win and achieved her gold medal…Was just the 86th rider to receive the gold medal since 1967.
FRESHMAN (2011-12): Breakout freshman season saw her honored as the team’s MVP on the flat and the Aggies’ co-Rookie of the Year … went 9-2-1 on the year, leading the flat riders in winning percentage (.792) and ranking second in scoring average (75.17) … went a perfect 4-0 in her first appearance at NCEAs, helping lead the Aggies to the overall national championship and the hunter seat riders to the finals for the first time since 2008 … first career victory came in only her second varsity ride, knocking off Baylor’s Kim Woodsum in Waco (11/18) … score of 88 earned her MVP honors as well and was the highest of any A&M flat rider on the year … earned first postseason victory in the Big 12 finals, a 147-128 defeat of Oklahoma State’s Jordan White (3/31) … averaged nearly 154 points at NCEAs, earning wins over Lanie Madrazo of Fresno State (4/12), All-American Kimberly McCormack of South Carolina (4/13), All-American Kylee Arbuckle of Georgia (4/13) and Sam Schaefer of Baylor (4/14) … her 160-147 win over Arbuckle in the semifinals helped secure the overall national championship.

Haley Ann Buchmiller is the daughter of Carl and Debbie Buchmiller of Bartlett, Illinois ... born October 26, 1992 in Bartlett ... has an older sister, Kendall, and a younger brother, Rhett ... majoring in kinesiology ... chose Texas A&M for the atmosphere, the coaching staff and the team ... hopes to one day be a gym/health teacher at the high school level ... a 2011 graduate of South Elgin High School in Bartlett, Illinois ... has been riding 14 years, mostly hunters and jumpers ... trained by Kim Gardiner of Perfecta Farm ... currently holds a top-50 ranking on the United States Equitation Federation’s charts ... earned a silver medal at the United States Equestrian Team Foundation’s annual competition ... is a three-time qualifier for the prestigious USEF Medal Finals and the ASPCA Maclay Regionals ... earned two trips to the Maclay, most recently in 2010 after a sixth-place finish at regionals ... a two-time competitor at the USEF East Coast Talent Search Finals ... has won the Illinois Hunter Jumper Association’s (IHJA) Equitation 15-17 division championship in each of the last three years ... enjoys boating with her family, long days at the beach and shopping in her spare time.
