2015 - FRESHMAN:

Played in nine games during the season...made her career debut against Northwestern State (Aug. 23)...Recorded a season-high 37 minutes against Ole Miss (Oct. 25).

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:

Three-time Female Athlete of the Year at Longview High School... Earned All-District 15-5A Second Team as a freshman, her only season playing prep soccer... Four-year varsity letterwinner in Track & Field and Cross Country...Also lettered in Softball, Powerlifting, Swimming, and Soccer... Avid runner who has completed six half-marathons and multiple triathlons... Has won her age group in multiple events, including the 2011 Daytona Triathlon, 2011 and 2014 River Cities Triathlon, 2012 Monster Dash 10K, 2013 Longview Sprint Triathlon... Two-year member of the National Honor Society and four-year member of Student Council... Four-year member of the Honor Roll, including two years on the All “A” Honor Roll... Amethyst Marie Kelly was born Dec. 21, 1996, to parents Gene and Rashell Kelly, has two older brothers Blythe and Christian... majoring in zoology... aspires to be a traveling zoologist to work with animals all over the world... in her leisure time enjoys hiking, working out, cooking, rock-climbing, soccer and acquiring new facts.
