
Kelsey Bone, Galatasaray Win EuroLeague Women Title

YEKATERINBURG, Russia- Former Texas A&M All-American Kelsey Bone scored 10 points to help Galatasaray Odeabank win their first EuroLeague Women's Basketball championship on Sunday, defeating rivals Fenerbahçe 69-58 in the championship game.
Bone, who was MVP of the 2013 SEC Tournament for the Aggies, was Galatasaray's second-leading scorer in the title game, going 4-of-8 from the field. Bone averaged 10.1 points and 5.8 rebounds during the competition for the Turkish side.
"The blood, sweat, and tears were all for moments like this!!!" Bone tweeted after the victory.
Former Houston standout Sancho Little led Galatasaray with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the championship game.
EuroLeague Women, now in its 23rd season, is the premier professional women's basketball competition during the winter months, and features many of the best American-born players during the WNBA offseason. EuroLeague Women features the best clubs from all domestic European leagues, who then play off for the continential title. Galatasaray are the first Turkish team to win the EuroLeague title.
