FORT WORTH, Texas – Texas A&M freshman Dorthea Faa-Hviding's run in the consolation singles draw at the ITA Texas Regional Championship came to an end in the semifinals as she fell to Savannah Durkin of Rice, 6-2, 6-3, today at TCU's Bayard H Friedman Tennis Center.

Faa-Hviding (pronounced door-TAY-ah Fay-hiding) was the last Texas A&M player to be competing in the tournament. The tournament concludes Tuesday with the winners of the championship matches advancing to face other regional winners across the country at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in November in Flushing, N.Y.

The Aggies continue their fall schedule Friday, Oct. 27 as they return to Fort Worth to compete in the three-day TCU Invitational.
