Women's Golf Opens Clemson Invitational

Texas A&M's women's golf team heads to the Clemson Invitational, March 23-25 for a 54-hole tournament. The Aggies have finished in the top five in six of their eight tournaments this season.
The Aggies take to the 15-team event, played at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C., with a lineup of Maddie Szeryk, Courtney Dow, Amber Park, Chloe Velasco and Ariana Saenz. The 15-team event includes several highly ranked teams, including No. 7 Furman, No. 11 Michigan State, No. 14 Oklahoma, No. 21 Purdue, in addition to hosts Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, UNC Wilmington, WIsconsin, Ohio State, Harvard, Indiana and Vanderbilt.
Szeryk, recently selected to the first International Arnold Palmer Cup team for women, has posted three second place finishes this season, including in her last outing at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. Courtney Dow has finished in the Top 20 in four of the last five events, and ranks second on the team with a 73.32 stroke average.
