
Women's Golf Tees Off At Schooner Fall Classic; Coverage Set For FSSW

NORMAN, Okla.- Texas A&M women's golf tees off at the Schooner Fall Classic at 9:50 a.m. Friday at the Belmar Golf Club. Television coverage of the first round runs from 12-3 p.m. on Fox Sports Southwest and Fox College Sports Central.
Host Oklahoma, Alabama, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas, Texas State, UNC Wilmington and Wisconsin join the Aggies in the 15-team field at the par 71 / 6,048-yard course for the 54-hole tournament.
Courtney Dow, Amber Park, Ava Schwienteck, Brooke Tyree and Katie Finley make up Texas A&M's lineup. Park led the Aggies in stroke play at their last tournament, the East & West Match Play Challenge, shooting even-par 144 and finishing seventh. Schwienteck and Tyree both tied for 17th at 3-over par. Dow, who ranks fifth at Texas A&M in career stroke average, went 2-0 during the match play portion of the tournament in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Finley is making her collegiate debut in the event, returning to her home state of Oklahoma, where she was the top-ranked golfer in the state in her recruiting class. Finley won the 2017 Oklahoma 3A Championship, and finished third in the 2018 4A Championship.
