Dec 12, 2025 | Women's Basketball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team will face off against the West Virginia Mountaineers Sunday at 2 p.m. inside Reed Arena.
The red-hot Aggies (6-1) look to keep momentum going after a dominant outing versus Georgia Tech. Offensively, the Maroon & White had three players record double-doubles and five players score in double-digits. On the defensive end, the Aggies forced 11 steals and a season high eight blocks to hold off the Yellow Jackets.
Senior point guard Ny'Ceara Pryor continues to lead the way, averaging 17.0 points, 7.4 Assists, 5.0 rebounds and a SEC leading 4.3 steals per game. Inside, Fatmata Janneh has made her presence felt, averaging 9.7 points, and 11.0 rebounds per game. Janneh currently leads the SEC in defensive rebounds per game (8.0).
Texas A&M is facing off against West Virginia for only the third time in program history. The Mountaineers currently lead the all-time series 2-1.
The Texas A&M men's basketball team plays after the conclusion of the women's game at 6 p.m. against Jacksonville. A separate game ticket is required to attend the men's basketball game. Fans will need to exit the arena at the end of the women's game and then will be able to re-enter the arena beginning at 5 p.m.
