
Women’s Basketball Faces off With Georgia Tech in ACC-SEC Challenge

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to take on Georgia Tech at 6:15 p.m. inside Reed Arena Wednesday as part of the third annual ACC-SEC Challenge.
The contest will be the program's "Wicked Night" where Wicked Witch Hats and LED Tiaras will be available while supplies last. Additionally, the team will be accepting donations of bikes, helmets, and Academy, Visa and Mastercard gift cards at the Schulte Roofing Fan Zone prior to the start of the game for children of the Brazos Valley.
The Aggies are led by senior point guard Ny'Ceara Pryor who is averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game. Pryor is No. 7 in the country in assists per game and No. 3 in steals per outing. Fatmata Janneh has cleaned up the glass for the Maroon & White this season, hauling in an SEC best 11.2 rebounds per game.
Texas A&M is coming off winning the North Shore Showcase where it defeated VCU and Colorado by double-digits. The Aggies have the opportunity to pick up their third Power 4 victory of the year. The Maroon & White is 2-0 all-time in the ACC-SEC Challenge with an average margin of victory of 18.0 points.
