
Women’s Basketball Travels to Georgia for First SEC Road Test

ATHENS– The Texas A&M women's basketball team hits the road Sunday to take on the Georgia Lady Bulldogs at Stegeman Coliseum Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Aggies (7-3, 0-1 SEC) are led by Ny'Ceara Pryor who is coming off a 20 point, six assist and four steal outing and Fatmata Janneh, who currently owns a four-game double-double streak.
Pryor is the lone player in country to be in the top 10 of both assists and steals per game. The Baltimore native is averaging 7.5 dimes and 3.8 steals so far this season, which ranks No. 6 and No. 4 in the country, respectively. Janneh posted 16 points and 10 rebounds versus No. 8 Oklahoma and is averaging 11.6 rebounds through the first 10 games of the season which places her fifth in the country and first in the SEC.
Sunday's contest will be the first true road game for Texas A&M since Nov. 16 at Kansas State. The Maroon & White currently hold a 11-6 advantage all-time over Georgia having split the last four matchups, 2-2. The Bulldogs (14-1, 0-1 SEC) are currently undefeated at home, and are coming off their first loss of the season to Ole Miss.
