
Women’s Basketball Hosts No. 21 Alabama for BTHO Breast Cancer Game Sunday

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to host its annual BTHO Breast Cancer game versus the No. 21 Alabama Crimson Tide Sunday night inside Reed Arena at 5 p.m.
The Aggies (8-10, 1-8 SEC) are led by Ny'Ceara Pryor, who is averaging 15.2 points, 6.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.6 steals per game. She is coming off her 16th double-digit outing of the season with 14 points and two steals against No. 3 South Carolina.
Anita Franchini has emerged as a rising star for the Aggies, recording season highs of seven points, nine rebounds and six steals in her 29-minute outing versus the Gamecocks. Over the last two games, she is averaging 3.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 23.0 minutes of action. Janae Kent has continued to be a valuable scorer for the Maroon & White, averaging 9.2 points per game while appearing in all 18 games this season.
Alabama (20-4, 7-1 SEC) comes into the matchup 2-3 on the road this season and is coming off a 64-63 win over No. 13 Ole Miss at home. The Crimson Tide are led by Jessica Timmons who is averaging 16.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
