Ryan Nichols joined the Athletics Department on March 12, 2018, as the Assistant Video Coordinator. Nichols is responsible for assisting the Video Coordinator in all tasks required to produce video for coach’s analysis.
Nichols graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and Master’s degree in Sport Management in 2013.
Prior to returning to Aggieland, Nichols was a member of the Syracuse women’s basketball staff from 2013-18. The Orange was selected to the NCAA Tournament every year during Nichols’ tenure and advanced to the Final Four and National Championship game in 2016.
As a student at Texas A&M, Nichols worked for the men’s basketball program from 2006-08 as a student manager and was a part of the Sweet 16 run in 2007.
A student videographer for the football team in 2009, Nichols returned to Texas A&M for grad school from 2011-13 as a graduate assistant videographer under James Duncan.
Nichols also Interned in the Utah Jazz Executive Front Office for three summers from 2010-12.
