Women’s Basketball Wraps up Non-Con Against Prairie View A&M Sunday

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to host Prairie View A&M Sunday at 12 p.m. inside Reed Arena to wrap up non-conference play.
The Aggies (6-2) are led by Fatmata Janneh who recorded her 30th career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds against West Virginia. Janneh is averaging a double-double this season with 10.0 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. Lauren Ware had a strong presence in the paint with 10 points eight rebounds and one block that moved her into a tie for seventh on the Texas A&M all-time blocks list.
Texas A&M is 23-2 versus Prairie View A&M (2-8) all-time and has won 22 consecutive matchups dating back to 1976.
The Texas A&M men's basketball team plays after the conclusion of the women's game at 3:00 p.m. or 30 minutes after the end of the women's game. Both games are free admission and parking for the public.
