BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team hosts No. 8 Oklahoma inside Reed Arena at 7 p.m. on New Year's Day to begin SEC action.

The Aggies went 7-2 in non-conference play with three victories over power four opponents. Texas A&M was led by Ny'Ceara Pryor who is the only player in the country to be ranked inside the top 10 in assists (7.7) and steals (3.8) per game. Pryor is also leading the team in scoring with 16.4 points per outing. Fatmata Janneh has been a force on the glass, leading the SEC with 11.8 rebounds per game and averaging a double-double with 10.8 points a contest.

The Maroon & White are 4-1 at home this season and winning by an average of 15.4 points per game at Reed. Last season, the Aggies won two ranked games at home in the month of January. Texas A&M is looking for its first win over a top-10 team since the 2020-21 season.
