COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M's women's basketball team hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Reed Arena at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The Aggies will take on the Islanders for the first time since 2005.

Coming off a big road win against TCU on Thursday, the Aggies quickly return to action for their first home game of Holiday Hoops, with tickets starting at just $4 for adults and $2 for youth. The Texas A&M offense is led out on the court by senior point guard Curtyce Knox who is averaging a stand out 9.3 assists per game, which leads the nation. Sophomore Anriel Howard is leading the team averaging 13.3 rebounds per game, which ranks second in the nation.
The Islanders are 4-3 coming off of a 73-44 victory over Schreiner on Tuesday. A&M-Corpus Christi is coached by Royce Chadwick, who is in his fifth season with the Islanders, with senior Camesha Davis leading the way by averaging 9.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
Texas A&M leads the all-time series 3-0, including a 65-59 win in the Round of 16 of the 2005 WNIT, where the Aggies used a 15-3 run to close the game.
Following this game, the Aggies travel to Houston on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2:30 p.m. as they take on Southern at the Campbell Center.
